I don’t remember where or when I first heard about Dale Chihuly. I do remember the first time I saw his work in person– it was April 2012 in Little Rock at the William J. Clinton Presidential Library. When I recently had the opportunity to see his work on a grander scale, at the Chihuly Garden and Glass in Seattle, I didn’t hesitate. From the very first moments in the museum, I was transfixed and bewitched at the sheer magnitude and, at the same time, delicacy of his work. I can’t wait to find another exhibit of his work so that I can experience that same joy and awe as I did this past week.
