A year ago I returned home from a phenomenal ‘movie’ road trip. That trip and the events a few days later– well, they may have changed my life (no hyperbole intended). The thing I love about road trips are what you can find if you just allow yourself to stop for detours. One such detour was Montauk, the former home of Iowa’s 12th governor, William Larrabee and Anna Larrabee, his wife. Near Clermont, Iowa, Montauk is situated on 46 acres among 100,000 pines overlooking the Turkey River.
