Ernie Davis was the first black football player to win the Heisman Trophy. Recently, on the campus of Syracuse University, Ernie Davis was immortalized in bronze. There’s just one small problem– his football cleat featured the globally recognized swoosh of Nike. How long will it be before Nike’s swoosh makes its way into all of human history?
